All of our rental units are clean, continually updated, nicely maintained, and furnished with quality furniture. All units have full kitchens and most have private patios or balconies. Laundry is available on site. Island Getaway offers beach amenities such as beach chairs and carts, beach toys, games, BBQ grills, and many other features which provide for a wonderful beach vacation.

Located at the south end of the Island in Bradenton Beach, the Island Getaway Cottages are located within a minute’s walk from the world’s most beautiful sand beaches on the Gulf side and a small pier on the bay side, meaning you can enjoy the serenity of viewing both sunrise and sunset just minutes from your front door. Watch the dolphins jump through the blue Gulf waters and see the breath-taking sunsets daily. Historic Bridge street, and City Pier provide plenty of shops, restaurants and bars and several nearby marinas offering opportunities for boat rental, water sports and day or night fishing are a short walking distance away. The entire Island can be accessed by a free trolly.
No through traffic ensures a private location to enjoy the very special quiet and serene atmosphere of the Island Getaway Cottages. The one, two and three bedroom units are all upgraded and most units have private lanais as well. The lighted, lushly landscaped courtyard is in the center of all 9 units and provides private seatings for the guests to enjoy a coffee, read a book or play games in a tropical outdoor setting. Relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of this friendly island getaway, or visit various sites and attractions in the nearby Holmes Beach, Bradenton, and Sarasota areas. Our vacation resort is an ideal base to jaunt to all the world-renowned Orlando area attractions, including Walt Disney World, just over 2 hours away; or to Tampa, including Busch Gardens among many others, only 1 hour away by way of the stunning Skyway Bridge.
